What is a Crawler Dozer ?" The Crawler dozer is a heavy construction machine for earth-moving. Dozers are usually used to transport or push material or to rip or scarify the ground. Mostly these tractors are mounted on crawler tracks although Wheel Dozer exist as well. The most common attachments for crawler dozer are the ripper to scarify but there are as well winches and ploughs. The front blade of the bulldozer has - depending on its´ use - different forms: there is the U-Blade to move light material, Semi-U and the Straight Blade. Smaller dozers might be equipped with the Pat-Blade which can move in six ways. Depending on the working underground, there are tracks for standard ground and others, so called LGP-tracks with wide shoes for a sandy or muddy ground."
