Available second hand mobile excavators

What is a mobile excavator? The mobile excavator (also known as wheeled excavator, excavator on tyres) is a construction machine, predominantly used for lighter earth-moving works. The standard mobile excavator is about 15 tons to 18 tons, but there are mobile excavators up to 24 tons of weight. This type of excavator consists of a 360º swivelling structure equipped with a digging arm. This arm normally is either a monoboom (one piece boom) or an articulated boom (two piece boom), although there are several other booms developped for special works. At the end of the digging stick you can put a variety of attachments, depending on the work done. The most common attachments for mobile excavators are: buckets of any size and design, hydraulic breakers, grabbles and many more specialized equipment for handling etc. One of the biggest problems of mobile excavators is the stability, especially on rough underground. As the mobile excavator is mounted on simple tyres or twin tyres, in most cases this stability is not enough to secure safety. For that reason, most mobile excavators are equipped with at least an hydraulic support blade or two hydraulic outriggers. For rough grounds, they can be equipped as well with four outriggers or a combination of a blade and two outriggers.
